Job summary

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (Credentialed or Non-Credentialed) for the Ear, Nose & Throat South Clinic in Oregon City. The role supports exam prep, procedures, and patient flow, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Plaza II. Certification, CPR/BLS, and EMR experience are valued assets for this team-oriented position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of previous experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Experience in Specialty Care Ear, Nose & Throat is a plus.
• Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. is preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire.
• Prior EMR experience is strongly preferred; Epic experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with authorization and referral processes.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Ability to communicate professionally with patients, physicians and team members.
• Commitment to patient-focused care, privacy and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical staff by collecting information, escorting patients to exam rooms, and preparing patients for examination.
• Assist with procedures and specialty-related tests/monitoring (ear cleanings, nasal endoscopy setup, flexible laryngoscopy support, biopsies, cautery, wound care, allergy testing).
• Schedule appointments for new and established patients.
• Update records as needed.
• Assist with overall delivery of patient care in the department.
• Other duties as assigned.
