Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in Hobart, IN seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon for Hand. This full-time, Monday–Friday position offers a flexible schedule in a premier, tech-forward hospital.

You will provide surgical and non-surgical care for the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow, with about 30 clinic patients daily and a 1:6 call rotation. The role includes arthroscopic techniques and advanced upper-extremity procedures, plus EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Possession of Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Proficient in general orthopedic procedures and arthroscopic techniques
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with athletic trainers and physical therapists

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for hand, wrist, forearm and elbow

• Perform complex hand and upper extremity surgeries including tendon repairs, nerve decompression, fracture fixation, microvascular procedures
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for arthritis, Dupuytren's contracture, and congenital hand differences
• Manage acute upper extremity trauma including revascularization and replantation
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques for wrist and small joints

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow
• Clinic patients per day: 30
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Perform complex hand and upper extremity surgeries, including tendon repairs, nerve decompression (carpal tunnel), fracture fixation, and microvascular procedures
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for chronic conditions such as arthritis, Dupuytren's contracture, and congenital hand differences
• Manage acute upper extremity trauma, including revascularization and replantation where applicable
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques for wrist and small joint procedures

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Demonstrated proficiency in general orthopedic procedures and arthroscopic techniques
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with athletic trainers and physical therapists
