Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with a focus on the hand to join a premier Northwest Indiana provider in Hobart, IN. This full-time role offers a flexible, patient-focused schedule within a tech-forward environment and a strong commitment to work-life balance.

You will deliver comprehensive care for the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow, perform complex surgeries, and collaborate with athletic trainers and physical therapists.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
• Proficiency in general orthopedic procedures and arthroscopic techniques.
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with athletic trainers and physical therapists.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow
• Clinic patients per day: 30
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Perform complex hand and upper extremity surgeries, including tendon repairs, nerve decompression (carpal tunnel), fracture fixation, and microvascular procedures
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for chronic conditions such as arthritis, Dupuytren's contracture, and congenital hand differences
• Manage acute upper extremity trauma, including revascularization and replantation where applicable
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques for wrist and small joint procedures

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow
