University Medical Associates (UMA) is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support outpatient care under the supervision of a physician and RN. You will interview patients, record vital signs, prepare examination rooms, and assist with procedures in a patient-centered team.

The role requires completing an accredited medical assisting program and a high school diploma; certification (AMT/AAMA/NHA/NCCT) and BLS are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assists in examination and treatment under physician direction.
• Interviews patients and records vital signs and exam results.
• Maintains exam rooms and supplies and ensures cleanliness.
• Triages patients and assists with scheduling and referrals.
• Prepares patients for procedures and administers prescribed tests.
