Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics is seeking a Clinical Assistant to provide patient care in the clinic and handle related administrative duties. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with possible evening shifts and occasional travel to western-suburb sites.

The position supports multiple specialties and requires CMA/AT-C/CNA or equivalent experience. Responsibilities include rooming patients, updating EHRs, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with injections, casts, and orders under

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMA, AT-C, or CNA certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stock, and clean exam room.
• Room patients and prep for exam.
• Maintain an efficient, organized clinical flow.
• Gather and verify pertinent patient information; compile medical data.
• Assist with documentation of patient data into the EHR system.
• Prep for injections, change dressings, apply durable medical equipment, and remove sutures/staples under provider direction.
• Casts: application and removal; ensure coding requirements are followed during entry of patient information.
• Act as prescribing delegate to enter medical orders under provider supervision.
• Support multiple specialties and assist Care Coordinator with patient care services and inventory.
