Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Athletic Trainer to support student athletes with high-quality care, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and safe return-to-play guidance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or related field required; master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• State Athletic Trainer license required.
• Certified Athletic Trainer credential through the National Athletic Trainers’ Association preferred.
• Previous experience as an Athletic Trainer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training care for student athletes in accordance with applicable state athletic training practices.
• Evaluate athletic injuries and develop appropriate plans of care.
• Design and implement injury rehabilitation programs that support recovery and performance.
• Assess athlete readiness and determine safe return-to-play participation.
• Provide athletic training coverage for home and hosted contests as described by guidelines.
• Administer emergency care and first aid when needed.
• Create, maintain, and regularly update injury reports and related documentation.
• Ensure proper use and fit of athletic equipment and maintain training environment.
