The successful candidate will provide specialized WC billing expertise and drive revenue through diligent follow-up with carriers and patients.

Responsibilities include reviewing remittance statements, handling denials and appeals, and utilizing the EPIC billing system to process authorizations and monitor billing

Qualifications

Experience with workers' compensation billing for orthopaedic practices.
Excellent understanding of workers' compensation guidelines.
Proficient with EPIC billing system.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Ability to multitask in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Provide workers' compensation billing expertise for the Billing Department.
Review remittance statements and explain benefits.
Follow up on denials and appeals.
Create and process workers' compensation authorizations for orthopaedic treatment using the WC Onboard Portal.
Monitor billing reports and ensure accurate invoicing.
