New York Billing Solutions Inc in the Financial District of New York is seeking an Experienced Workers’ Compensation/No Fault Billing Specialist and Biller for a large orthopedic practice. Immediate hire with excellent salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will provide workers’ compensation billing expertise, manage remittance reviews, handle denials and appeals, and support revenue improvement through accurate coding and timely follow-ups in a busy billing

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of Workers' Compensation guidelines.
• Proficient knowledge of Workers' Compensation MTG form.
• Experience with EPIC billing system.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team.

Responsabilités

• Provide workers compensation/NF billing expertise for the Billing Department.
• Review remittance statements daily and analyze explanations of benefits.
• Follow up on denials and prepare appeal letters.
• Create and process workers compensation prior authorizations for orthopedic treatment.
• Monitor billing reports and improve revenue and collections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experienced Workers Compensation/No FaultyCollection Specialist and Biller for a large Orthopaedic practice located in the Financial District. Excellent salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing workers compensation/NF billing expertise for the Billing Department. Actively utilizes improvement strategies to positively impact on revenue and collection.

• Excellent understanding of Workers Compensation guidelines.
• Extensive and effective communication and follow-up with insurance carriers, adjusters and patients.
• Daily reviews of remittance statements and explanation of benefits.
• Follow up with denials and appeal letters.
• Create and process workers compensation prior authorizations for orthopaedic treatment, utilizing the Workers Compensation Onboard Portal.
• Proficient knowledge of workers compensation MTG form.
• Knowledge of working with the EPIC billing system.
• Moinitor and follow up with billing reports.
• Strong written and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask.
• Teamwork environment
• Performs other duties as assigned.
