Job summary

SAMGI is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our Level II Trauma Center in Goodyear, Arizona. This role offers dedicated OR access, APP support 10 hours per day, and a sustainable schedule of 15 days per month to focus on trauma care.

You will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary surgical environment, with a December 2026 start target and comprehensive credentialing support from SAMGI.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in orthopedic surgery.
• Fellowship training in orthopedic trauma.
• Current or eligible Arizona medical license.
• Credentialing and privileges with hospital.

Responsibilities

• Operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients.
• Acute fracture management and high-energy injuries.
• Trauma call coverage and inpatient/post-operative care.
• Collaboration with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, anesthesia, nursing, and hospital teams.

Education

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery

THE OPPORTUNITY

SAMGI is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our established trauma program at a Level II Trauma Center in Goodyear, Arizona — in the heart of Phoenix's fastest-growing West Valley community.

This position offers dedicated OR access, APP support 10 hours per day, and a sustainable schedule of 15 days per month. SAMGI liberates you from billing and administrative distractions — so you can focus entirely on being a surgeon.

• Level II Trauma Center serving the West Valley Phoenix metro


• High-acuity orthopedic trauma program

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients


• Acute fracture management and high-energy orthopedic injuries


• Trauma call coverage


• Inpatient and post-operative care


• Collaborate with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, anesthesia, nursing, and hospital teams


• Work closely with APPs supporting the orthopedic trauma service
