Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Orthopedic Trauma team. This full-time, 40-hour week role spans inpatient and outpatient care, collaborating with an orthopedic trauma surgeon in a Level II trauma environment.

The position features a 7-on/7-off schedule with a sign-on bonus and a balanced work-life approach, including hybrid inpatient/outpatient duties and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Georgia licensure as PA/NP or eligible.
• NCCPA certification for PAs or board certification for NPs; ACLS/BLS required or obtained per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for orthopedic trauma patients.
• Manage inpatient orthopedic trauma rounds and consults; provide outpatient clinic care.
• Perform fracture reductions, casting, splinting, and joint injections; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
