The candidate should hold a Master's degree, be board certified (ACNP or NCCPA), and possess Virginia licensure and DEA.

Qualifications

• Masters degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Board certification (ACNP or NCCPA) and BLS.
• Virginia License and Virginia DEA.
• Ability to complete payer credentialing and CMS enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Level 1 trauma activations with orthopedic injuries.
• First‑assist in the operating room and perform orthopedic procedures.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate care with the orthopedic team.
• Document care in the EMR and manage inpatient discharges.
• Participate in rounds, trauma meetings, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Educate patients and families; support training of residents or students.
• Maintain licensure and participate in quality improvement.
