Job summary

Cincinnati Children's in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a patient-facing Ambulatory Services Orthopaedics Center team member. The role supports orthopedic providers by applying and removing basic casts, prepping patients, taking vital signs, and helping maintain clinic flow.

You will assist in the OR casting when needed, follow sterile precautions, help with patient education on cast care, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Practice - Assist with the application and removal of basic casts, splints, and braces for orthopedic patients. Support providers and staff with routine care tasks and clinic flow.
• Provide general assistance to Ambulatory Services and the Orthopedic Division to ensure a positive patient experience with clear cast care guidance.
• Interdepartmental duties - Assist during ER visits, in OR casting when needed, and maintain sterile precautions and safety throughout orthopedic care.
• Inventory management and compliance - monitor casting area, manage stock discrepancies, and follow applicable regulatory requirements.
