OrthoIndy Hospital in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our OIH Surgical Services team. The role supports the operating room during orthopedic cases with four 10-hour weekday shifts, 7:00 am–5:30 pm, and a rotating day off.

We offer full benefits and minimal on-call obligations in a physician-owned hospital environment. Applicants should have an Associate's degree in surgical technology, be certified, and hold BLS; new grads are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited surgical technology program required.
• Certified Surgical Technician certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile setup and assist surgeons in orthopedic procedures.
• Perform appropriate counts as established by policy.
• Review surgeon preference cards.
• Maintain aseptic environment for patients.
• Maintain clean, safe operating room environment and equipment.
• Assist with control of supplies and medications.
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of all surgical instrumentation and equipment.
