Qualifications

• Must have CPC/CCS or equivalent certification and 5+ years surgical coding experience.
• Deep knowledge of payer rules, coding conventions, and documentation requirements.
• Experience with orthopedic or spine coding highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Code high-complexity orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures with CPT/ICD-10.
• Verify all documentation is complete and compliant for coding and reimbursement.
• Identify missed billable components and query providers for clarification as needed.
