Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year OR experience in orthopedic/sports medicine preferred.
• CSR (Controlled Substance Registration) required.
• BLS Tier 1 Basic Life Support certification required within 180 days; NCCPA/PA certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• First assist in OR for total joint replacements, fracture repairs and general orthopedic procedures.
• Provide clinic coverage for 20–25 orthopedic patients per day.
• Perform casting, splinting, DME application and joint injections.
• Round on patients in hospital mornings and occasional weekends.
• Collaborate with surgical team on OR days and handle administrative duties.
