Job summary

Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant to join our Bellevue Medical Center Orthopedic Surgery team in Bellevue, Washington. This 1.0 FTE position starts in May 2026 and offers a collaborative, evidence-based care model within Kaiser Permanente’s integrated system.

The role involves outpatient clinic management, first assist on robotic and open procedures, inpatient rounding, urgent care/ED consultations, and shared call

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant with surgical experience.
• Orthopedic surgery experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain unrestricted Federal DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients in outpatient clinics.
• First assist on laparoscopic, robotic, and open procedures.
• Provide inpatient care and community hospital rounding.
• Handle urgent care/ED consultations to improve efficiency.
• Share on-call responsibilities with additional compensation.
