Job summary

Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant-Certified to join our Orthopedic team based in Tacoma, Washington. We have outlying sites in Olympia and Silverdale, as well as our main site in Tacoma.

Qualifications

• Must hold NCCPA Certification.
• Preferred: Minimum two years of surgical experience.
• Preferred: Orthopedic surgery experience.
• Ability to obtain WA State Medical License.
• Ability to obtain Federal DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in surgery with inpatient and outpatient cases.
• Evaluating and managing patients in the outpatient clinic at all points in the care continuum.
• Community hospital rounding and inpatient management.
• Consultations in urgent care and ED as needed to amplify efficiencies.
• Shared call responsibilities with additional pay earned from overnight and weekend call.
