Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a board-certified orthopedic surgeon to oversee the diagnosis and treatment of work-related and motor-vehicle injuries. You will prepare patients for return to work and lead multidisciplinary coordination to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care, close collaboration with teams, and commitment to the company’s ESG goals. A Monday–Friday schedule and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania and/or eligibility in Delaware.
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
• Recommend tests to determine injury extent and treatment.
• May perform surgery if needed.
• Lead care coordination and maintain high-quality patient care.

Job Duties

• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
• Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment
• May perform surgery if needed
• Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company’s ESG goals
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Favorable malpractice history
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• DEA license

Physical/Mental Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
