Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care is seeking an MD/DO physician to oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational and motor vehicle injuries in an outpatient setting.

The role requires BC/BE in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, or Sports Medicine and an unrestricted license. A strong patient-care focus, teamwork, and adherence to ESG standards are essential.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• BC/BE in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, or Sports Medicine.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where work will be performed.
• Favorable malpractice history.
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient diagnoses and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return-to-work after illness or injury.
• Recommend tests to determine injury extent and appropriate treatment.
• Uphold the company’s mission and ESG goals; lead in patient care.

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this position is $350k-450k per year commensurate with experience plus bonus.

Job Duties

• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
• Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment

Minimum Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
• BC/BE in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, or Sports Medicine
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state work will be performed
• Favorable malpractice history
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• DEA license

• Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing
• customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Physical/Mental Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
