Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care is seeking a qualified physician to treat mild to moderate closed head injuries and provide comprehensive rehabilitation services. The successful candidate will hold an MD/DO, be Board Certified in Neurology, and possess an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license. Responsibilities include overseeing patient diagnosis and treatment, preparing patients for return to work, and conducting diagnostic testing. The position offers a compensation of $160-170 per hour along with additional benefits including medical coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania is essential.
  • Board Certified in Neurology is necessary.
  • Favorable malpractice history is a must.
  • Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required.

Responsibilities

Compensation

$160-170 per hour. Sign‑on Bonus available.

Job Duties
  • Treats mild to moderate closed head injuries and post‑traumatic headaches.
  • Provides in‑house computerized neurocognitive testing, specifically ImPACT testing, as well as in‑house vestibular, cognitive, and aquatic therapy.
  • Oversees patient diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
  • Prepares patients for return to work after illness or injury.
  • Recommends and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and appropriate treatment.
  • Treats a high number of personal injury patients injured on the job or due to negligence of another and ensures timely and accurate documentation and reports. Duties include proffering testimony on behalf of some patients.
  • Upholds the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company’s ESG goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • MD/DO from an accredited educational institution.
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • Board Certified in Neurology.
  • Favorable malpractice history.
  • Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • DEA license.

Physical / Mental Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder height, working with body bent over at waist, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, arms extended at shoulder height, lifting up to 20 lbs.
