Job summary

Avera CNOS-Dakota Dunes is seeking a Physician to provide and manage direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and patient care within a defined practice area. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, treating, and educating patients, performing procedures, and maintaining thorough records while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed MD or DO in the service state with board eligibility or board certification.
• Active Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license required.
• Ability to maintain patient records and comply with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients per approved protocols.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Interpret diagnostic information and formulate a care plan.
• Ensure high-quality patient care with proper safety practices.
• Provide patient instruction on environment of care and safety.
• Follow care policies, goals, and standards.
• Collaborate with the care team and ensure appropriate referrals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and information.
