Job summary

Avera McKennan seeks a Medical Doctor to join a multidisciplinary team at Avera CNOS-Dakota Dunes. The role focuses on direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and patient care within a defined practice area.

The position requires medical licensure in the service state, board eligibility, and an active DEA license. You will collaborate with care teams, provide patient education, and participate in ongoing quality care initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD/DO licensed to practice medicine in the state where services are provided, board certified or board eligible
• MD/DO license must be current and in good standing Upon Hire
• DEA license required, both state and federal, based on state of practice Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients per approved protocols and standards of practice.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as indicated; develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate referrals with care team.

Education

Medical Doctor - Board of Medicine Licensed and board eligible

Doctor of Osteopathy - Board of Medicine Licensed and board eligible

Federal Drug Enforcement Admin license
