Job summary

Avera CNOS-Dakota Dunes in Sioux Center, IA seeks a physician to provide direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and ongoing patient care within a defined specialty. You will assess and treat patients, educate families, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Strong communication and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed MD with board certification/eligibility to practice in the service state.
• Licensed DO with board certification/eligibility to practice in the service state.
• DEA license required.
• Ability to perform essential job functions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients per approved protocol and standards.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Interprets diagnostic information and plans patient care.
• Maintains patient records and ensures safety and accuracy.
• Collaborates with the care team and coordinates referrals as needed.
• Adheres to organizational policies, CARE values, and confidentiality.

Education

Medical Doctor (MD) - licensed and board eligible

Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) - licensed and board eligible
