Job summary

Concentra is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to join on-site as a 1099 independent contractor. The role involves treating patients on-site for approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, with collaboration on case management and communication with employers.

The position emphasizes non-surgical and surgical expertise, work-related injury care, and flexible scheduling to complement a private practice. Board-certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery is preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice.
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university.
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site.

Responsibilities

• Half a day per week or biweekly.
• Flexible scheduling with consideration of your private practice.
• Provide orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal services on site and participate in case management with employers.
