Job summary

Concentra is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to join on-site as a 1099 independent contractor. The role involves treating patients in a roughly 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing existing practice.

You will work with Concentra Advanced Specialists to manage musculoskeletal injuries, supporting return-to-work and functional restoration. Collaboration with medical and therapy teams, employers, and case management is essential, with non-surgical and surgical services available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
• Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Licensure requirements of the state of practice.
• Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage on site.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients on site during a 4-hour shift per week or biweekly.
• Work in collaboration with Concentra medical and therapy providers.
• Communicate with employers and participate in case management.
