Job summary

Concentra, a leading health care provider, seeks an orthopedic surgeon to join on-site as a 1099 independent contractor. The role involves a ~4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, designed to complement an existing practice.

The Advanced Specialist will manage medically complex cases, support return-to-work goals, and collaborate with medical and therapy teams. This role includes case management interactions with employers and patients.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries.
• Licensure requirements of the state of practice.
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of an accredited university.
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site.

Responsibilities

• Half a day per week or biweekly.
• Flexible scheduling with consideration of your private practice.
