Job summary

Ashley Regional Medical Center in Vernal, UT is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to join a sports medicine fellowship trained surgeon and a skilled team in a rural, collaborative setting.

Facilities include a Mako robot on-site, three operating rooms, Level IV trauma, a robust rehab program and Athena EMR to support high-quality patient care and efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• General orthopedic procedures: interest in joints preferred.
• Subspecialty interests welcome; willingness to take general call.
• Experienced candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinic schedule: Tue, Thu, Fri (50 patients/week avg).
• OR Block Days: Mon & Wed.
• Hospital Rounding: Minimal - hospitalists admit most patients; APPs assist with rounding.
• Call requirement: 10 days per month, incl. one weekend (2-3 call-ins weekly / 5-7 phone consults).

Position Details

Join an established group consisting of a sports medicine fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon, nurse practitioner and highly skilled supporting staff in a collegial setting.

• General orthopedic procedures: interest in joints preferred

Schedule

• Clinic: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (50 patients/week avg)
• OR Block Days: Monday & Wednesday
• Hospital Rounding: Minimal - Hospitalists admit most patients; APPs assist with rounding
