Ashley Regional Medical Center in Vernal, UT is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to join our established team. The role includes clinic and OR responsibilities within a rural, supportive Lifepoint Health network, with access to Mako Robot, Level IV trauma, and a robust rehab program.

• OR Block Days: Monday & Wednesday
• Hospital rounding with hospitalists and APP support; 10 days of call per month (including one weekend)

Position Details

Join an established group consisting of a sports medicine fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon, nurse practitioner and highly skilled supporting staff in a collegial setting.

Required Skills and Procedures

• General orthopedic procedures: interest in joints preferred
• Subspecialty interests welcome; willingness to take general call
• Experienced candidates preferred

Schedule

• Clinic: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (50 patients/week avg)
• OR Block Days: Monday & Wednesday
• Hospital Rounding: Minimal - Hospitalists admit most patients; APPs assist with rounding
• Call requirement: 10 days per month, including one weekend (2-3 call-ins weekly / 5-7 phone consults)
