Job summary

Smith Nephew in Columbia, SC seeks an Associate Sales Representative for Sports Medicine to support the shoulder, knee, hip, and small joints. You will collaborate with hospital staff and surgeons, delivering technical product knowledge and in-theatre support.

You will build relationships with surgeons, hospitals, and teammates, participate in trainings, and strive to meet sales quotas while learning surgical procedures and Smith Nephew instrumentation and implants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years sales experience in medical devices.
• Experience selling to surgeons or hospital teams.
• Healthcare/orthopedic product experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical case coverage in the operating room.
• Secure inventory for cases and coordinate logistics.
• Consult surgical teams on instrumentation and implants.
• Develop an effective territory business plan to meet quota.
• Travel 2-4 overnights per month; occasional national travel.
