Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures using various imaging equipment to support accurate diagnoses. The role requires BLS within 30 days, ARRT registered in Radiography, and an Illinois radiologic technologist license as applicable by the facility.

Qualifications

BLS within 30 days (AHA) is required.
ARRT Registry (R) within 1 year is expected.
State license: Radiologic Technologist (IEMA) may be required per facility.

Responsibilities

Performs radiographic procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams per guidelines and department protocols.
Reviews cases with radiologist when appropriate.
Reviews labs and patient history to perform correct exam.
Administers IV contrast and oral/rectal contrast when appropriate.
Recognizes and responds to adverse or allergic reactions.
Transfers and verifies image data in PACS for Radiologist interpretation.
Maintains imaging equipment and workplace safety and organization.
