Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic general radiological procedures using various imaging equipment to assist in diagnosis of disease and injuries.

The role requires ARRT registration and an Illinois IEMA radiologic technologist license, with sign-on and relocation bonuses offered for eligible candidates. You will support imaging operations, ensure safety, and participate in education for staff and students within a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days – American Heart Association (AHA).
• Registered in Radiography (R) within 1 year – ARRT.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography – IEMA.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams per department protocols.
• Reviews cases with the radiologist when appropriate.
• Reviews labs and patient history to perform correct exam.
• Administers IV contrast and oral/rectal contrast when appropriate.
• Recognizes and responds to adverse or allergic reactions.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and provides necessary medical history for Radiologist interpretation.
• Ensures patient, visitor and environmental safety.
• Meets productivity levels as established by department benchmarking.
