Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring high image quality and patient safety. You will work under department protocols, review cases with radiologists, and manage contrast administration as needed.

The role requires BLS/ARRT licensing and Illinois radiography licensure, with sign-on and relocation bonuses offered for eligible candidates. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Illinois.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days
• ARRT registered in Radiography within 1 year
• Radiologic Technologist license (Radiography) in Illinois (IEMA)

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams per department protocols and accrediting bodies.
• Reviews cases with the radiologist when appropriate.
• Reviews labs and patient history to ensure correct exam.
• Administers IV and oral/rectal contrast as needed.
• Recognizes and responds to adverse or allergic reactions.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS for Radiologist interpretation.
