Job summary

Qualifications

• RN required and licensed to practice in Illinois.
• English fluency in reading, speaking and writing.
• Experience with EKG and patient education preferred.
• Basic computer skills for charting and documentation.
• Strong teamwork and communication throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across multiple domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Document care, interventions and outcomes accurately in the chart.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards within the unit.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to care team members as appropriate.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvements.
• Respond promptly to codes and provide stabilizing interventions.
