Mary Washington Healthcare seeks an experienced Level II Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The RN will apply evidence-based practice, participate in quality improvement, and mentor staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes nursing process delivery, patient education, discharge planning, and active participation in hospital policies and committees. BSN preferred; BLS required at hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN experience.
• Valid RN License from Virginia or compact state required.
• BSN preferred; BLS Provider CPR required at hire.

Responsabilités

• Direct and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Coordinate patient/family involvement and discharge planning.
• Communicate plan of care to health team members.
• Assist leadership to define standards of excellence for patient care and participate in improvement activities.
• Participate in quality improvement and orientation of new staff.
• Act as point of contact on unit policies and procedures for nurses.
• Participate in daily operational activities for safe patient care.
• Provide input to the Nurse Manager regarding unit needs.
• Participate in committees for nursing and hospital policies.
