Job summary

Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston, WI is seeking an Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time role at Mile Bluff Clinic. The position supports coordinated patient care with providers, handles patient communications, and manages prior authorization needs in a busy clinical setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Wisconsin RN license, BLS, and preferably ACLS. Prior orthopedic or procedural nursing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• . Two-year nursing degree required; four-year degree preferred.
• . Wisconsin RN license required.
• . BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months.
• . ACLS certification, Pain Management Procedural knowledge preferred.
• . 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
• . Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating patient care with other procedural staff.
• Respond to patient phone calls, patient messages, and collaborate with providers to deliver the best care possible.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the providers with prior authorization needs.
• Rooming, vital signs, gathering histories, educating patients and coordinating with providers as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested.
