Memorial Home Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Orthopedic Unit (4E) on days. This full-time role features three 12-hour shifts per week with every third weekend rotation and a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

The RN provides age-appropriate nursing care for elective and non-elective orthopedic surgeries, participates in care planning, and supports discharge planning and coordination with rehab services. Illinois RN licensure and BLS/CPR are required; BSN preferred.

Formación

• RN licensure in Illinois; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.
• Ability to position/transfer patients with coordination.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• IV insertion and IM injections.
• Exposure to blood, bodily fluids and hazardous materials.

Responsabilidades

• Delegation, supervision and provision of nursing care for a designated patient group.
• Provides age-appropriate care and participates in research when appropriate.
• Contributes to quality improvement processes and evidence-based practice.
• Adheres to hospital mission, vision and nursing division philosophy.
• Performs discharge planning and coordinates with rehab services as needed.
• Follows Illinois Nursing Act and professional standards.
