Job summary

Baldwin Health in Foley, AL is hiring an Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) for the Orthopedics unit. You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and follow established protocols to achieve safe, quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and the nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings, reporting changes to the care team.
• Administers medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration per standards.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency and scope.
• Collaborates to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities when needed.
