Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY seeks a Research Student in the Orthopaedics department to review and compile data for research trials and support investigators. The role involves identifying clinical data, abstracting information from charts, and providing monthly data summaries to the Principal Investigator; a Bachelor's degree and MS Office skills are required.

This grant-funded, day-shift position runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with a 7.5-hour workday and a rate of $20

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of/previous experience with data collection. Experience identifying and capturing required data from various data sources.
• Microsoft Office applications; ability to compile data and report on projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify very specific clinical data needed for collection.
• Abstract Clinical Information from charts.
• Provide monthly summary of data to PI.
• Maintain positive working relationship with research team and other members of the department.
• Perform other research clerical duties as required.
