Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center's Orthopaedic Surgery department seeks a Research Student to assist in collecting and organizing data for clinical trials. The role involves reviewing medical charts, abstracting relevant information, and preparing actionable datasets for Principal Investigators.

You will access data systems under PI supervision, ensure regulatory compliance, and help with routine clerical tasks related to the research program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with data collection and identifying data from multiple sources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data compilation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Identify very specific clinical data needed for collection.
• Abstract Clinical Information from charts.
• Provide monthly summary of data to PI.
• Maintain positive working relationship with research team and other members of the department.
• Perform other research clerical duties as required.
