Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full‑time orthopedic role at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX. The position supports day shift coverage with strong focus on coordinating multi-disciplinary care and executing physician and nursing orders.

You will implement patient care plans, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate discharge needs with the team. Requires Texas RN license and BLS within 1 month of hire.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Texas
• BLS Provider credential within 1 month of hire date
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent professional licensure

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans; records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
