Job summary

OrthoCarolina Boone is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to provide diagnostic radiographs for physicians while protecting patients from unnecessary radiation. You will position patients, select exposure factors, explain procedures, and ensure safety and accuracy in a fast-paced orthopedic environment.

Requirements include ARRT registration or registry eligibility, one year of orthopedic radiology experience, and CPR certified/recommended.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program approved and ARRT registered or registry eligible.
• One year of orthopedic radiology experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select exposure factors per department policy.
• Explain procedures, obtain histories, and address patient questions.
• Log procedures and process charges using computer systems.
• Maintain clean examination rooms and stock supplies.
• Assist with patient transport and flow in radiology.
• Follow safety and radiation protection standards.
