Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic x-rays as ordered by the physician. The role requires 1+ year fluoroscopy experience, C-Arm proficiency, current state licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Must possess a current (state) license as a Radiology Technician.
• ARRT certification preferred.
• Minimum of one-year fluoroscopy experience.
• C-Arm experience required.
• BLS certification.
• Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in x-ray / fluoroscopy technologist skills.
• Selects exposure factors and positioning to produce high-quality images.
• Proficiently uses radiology equipment and troubleshoots problems as needed.
• Maintains safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
• Communicates effectively with staff, physicians, and patients.
• Maintains documentation, logs, and equipment reports.
