Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to operate imaging equipment, perform diagnostic x-rays as ordered, and assist in preparing operating/procedure rooms. You will ensure radiation safety, maintain documentation, and support center operations with a professional, patient-centered approach.

Requirements include an accredited degree in radiologic technology, current state license, and one year of fluoroscopy experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Must possess a current state license as a Radiology Technician.
• ARRT certification preferred.
• Minimum of one-year fluoroscopy experience.
• C-Arm experience required.
• BLS certification.
• Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in x-ray / fluoroscopy technologist skills.
• Demonstrates competence in selecting exposure factors and positioning.
• Demonstrates proficiency in equipment and maintenance.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems.
• Maintains safety and infection control standards.
• Communicates effectively with staff and patients.
• Follows safety procedures and radiation protection principles.
• Attends required safety training and adheres to center policies.
