Job summary

Raleigh Orthopaedic is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our Raleigh location on a full-time basis. You will perform diagnostic radiologic imaging (X-rays) aligned with orthopaedic protocols to support diagnosis and treatment for patients of all ages.

Work with physicians to capture detailed musculoskeletal views, maintain equipment, and ensure radiation safety while documenting results in the EMR. The role emphasizes patient comfort and efficient workflow in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification and valid state Radiologic Technologist license (as applicable).
• Minimum 1–2 years of radiologic experience; orthopaedic imaging experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic imaging (X-rays) specific to orthopaedic protocols and positioning.
• Collaborate with physicians to capture detailed views of musculoskeletal structures for accurate assessment.
• Ensure appropriate imaging techniques based on patient condition, age, and mobility.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment for optimal performance and image clarity.
• Practice strict adherence to radiation safety guidelines for patients and staff.
• Ensure proper documentation, image storage, and EMR integration.
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients during imaging procedures.
• Assist clinical staff in supporting patient flow and optimizing room turnover as needed.
