Job summary

Raleigh Orthopaedic is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our Raleigh location on a full-time basis. You will perform diagnostic radiologic imaging (X-rays) aligned with orthopaedic protocols to support diagnosis and treatment for patients of all ages.

Work with physicians to capture detailed musculoskeletal views, maintain equipment, and ensure radiation safety while documenting results in the EMR. The role emphasizes patient comfort and efficient workflow in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification and valid state Radiologic Technologist license (as applicable).
• Minimum 1–2 years of radiologic experience; orthopaedic imaging experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Radiologic Technologist – Full-Time Position – Raleigh Location

We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist with experience in orthopaedic imaging to join our dynamic clinical team. This role specializes in obtaining high-quality diagnostic images that assist our orthopaedic providers in delivering precise, effective care. From sprains to complex fractures, you'll be a critical part of the diagnostic and treatment journey for patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiologic imaging (X-rays) specific to orthopaedic protocols and positioning
• Collaborate with physicians to capture detailed views of musculoskeletal structures for accurate assessment
• Ensure appropriate imaging techniques based on patient condition, age, and mobility
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment for optimal performance and image clarity
• Practice strict adherence to radiation safety guidelines for patients and staff

Physical Requirements:

• Physical guidelines include ability to be exposed to minimal radiation, stand/walk for up to eight hours/day, bend, stoop, twist, assist patients in turning, assist patient in arising from exam table, push wheelchair patients, and assist patient in arising from and returning to wheelchair.
• Physical requirements also include repetitive lifting of objects weighing up to 11 pounds with occasional lifting to 30 pounds.
