Job summary
Excelsia Injury Care is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with strong orthopedic and manual skills to work under a Physical Therapist.
The PTA must have completed an APTA-accredited program with an Associate degree and be eligible for state licensure; licensure exam must be passed to practice beyond temporary license.

Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an APTA-accredited therapy assistant program and hold an Associate degree.
- Must be eligible for State Board Examination and pass licensing exam to practice beyond a temporary license.
- PTA must maintain all requirements of state licensure.
Responsibilities
- PTA may treat patients ONLY under the direction of a Physical Therapist as defined by state law.
- PTA may perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks delegated by the Supervising PT.
- PTA may administer treatment with therapeutic exercise, massage, mechanical devices, and agents that use air, water, electricity, sound or light.
- PTA may modify treatment plans within the plan of care and assist the PT with evaluations and progress documentation.
- The supervising PT will assess the PTA's ability to perform delegated tasks.
