Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in the Philadelphia area. This role emphasizes orthopedic and manual skills within a patient-centered care model and requires an APTA-accredited program completion and state licensure.

The PTA will work under a supervising Physical Therapist and contribute to treatment plans, patient progress notes, and modality administration, while adhering to regulatory standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an APTA-accredited physical therapy assistant program and hold an active license to practice.
• Self-motivated, organized, caring, and able to work collaboratively in a multimodal, patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients only under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist as defined by state law.
• Perform physical therapy procedures and tasks delegated by the Supervising PT.
• Administer treatment with therapeutic exercise, massage, mechanical devices, and modalities.
• Assist the PT with evaluations and document treatment progress.
• Ensure compliant with licensure requirements and supervision levels.
