Job summary

HSS is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive orthopedic care in a demanding clinical environment in Florida. You will evaluate patients, plan treatments, and manage postoperative care within outpatient and inpatient settings.

You will function as a first assist, support perioperative processes, perform office-based procedures, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Florida license as PA or APRN with NCCPA/ANCC/AANP certification.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate and manage new and established orthopedic patients.
• Manage post-operative patients and monitor recovery.
• Function as first assist in surgical procedures and perioperative care.
• Provide office-based orthopedic procedures including joint injections and aspirations.
• Coordinate inpatient orders, discharge planning, and interprofessional care.
• Deliver patient education and ensure a responsive patient experience.
