Job summary

Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan is seeking a Physician Assistant to work alongside providers in the Grand Rapids clinics. You will evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries or surgeries, develop care plans, and collaborate with therapists to optimize outcomes.

Required NCCPA certification and Michigan licensure, with a PA program diploma. Orthopaedic experience is preferred; position is onsite in Grand Rapids with a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Certification from NCCPA is required.
• Licensed to practice in Michigan is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, including histories and exams, to aid in diagnoses.
• Interpret tests (X-rays, labs) and develop treatment plans.
• Administer injections and perform minor procedures under supervision.
• Coordinate care with Physical Therapy and other departments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure informed consent.
• Stay current with orthopaedic treatment advances and licensure requirements.
