Job summary

RIO GRANDE VALLEY ORTHOPEDIC CENTER in McAllen, TX is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care under orthopedic physicians. You will conduct histories and exams, order and interpret tests, and assist with treatment planning in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• Texas license as a Physician Assistant and graduation from an accredited PA program.
• NCCPA certification (or eligibility) and compliance with regulatory/credentialing requirements.
• Clinical experience or strong interest in orthopedics, musculoskeletal medicine, or related surgical specialties.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments, interpret tests, and develop evidence-based care plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and the team.
• Proficiency in EHR documentation and basic medical office technologies.
• Commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
• Willingness to work on-site full time in McAllen, TX, with flexible clinic schedules.
